For Black Women,
By Black Women.
Black Girls Politickin is a growing community of Black women building power across politics, government, advocacy, and public service. Through interviews, convenings, and digital storytelling, we elevate leaders and create intentional spaces to connect, learn, and lead.
Come Sit With Us
The Table is the signature monthly virtual series from Black Girls Politickin, created to convene Black women across politics, government, advocacy, and public service for intentional, intergenerational conversation.
Our inaugural session, launching on Barbara Jordan’s birthday during Black History Month, honors a legacy of bold leadership and principled power. In the spirit of Congresswoman Jordan’s commitment to democracy, integrity, and public service, this first gathering centers what it means for Black women to lead in this political moment.
This conversation will bring together dynamic Black women working across systems to discuss representation, policy impact, leadership pathways, and the responsibility of stewarding power. Attendees can expect candid dialogue, meaningful connection, and practical insight for navigating and shaping political spaces.
Because when Black women gather with intention, power expands.
Come Politick with BGP
Black Girls Politickin (BGP) is a political media and civic engagement platform amplifying the voices, leadership, and power of Black women across the political spectrum.
“We exist because Black women are the backbone of our democracy, yet too often remain underrepresented in decision-making spaces and underserved in political storytelling. BGP creates intentional space for Black women in politics, government, advocacy, public service, organizing, and policy to be seen, heard, and resourced.”
Through interviews, digital conversations, curated events, and community-building initiatives like The Table, we highlight the work Black women are doing to shape policy, shift narratives, and build power at every level.
